Tree planting

We have recently planted over 400 sapling trees and plants, to provide privacy for customers and improve the landscaping on site.

We would like your help in allowing these new plants to grow and thrive, and we would ask you not to cut through these areas to get across the site.

We can’t wait to see Sherwood Pines become an even more beautiful place to stay and we appreciate your cooperation.

EV charging point

We've gone greener

We have added an EV charging station at Reception, available to both campers and the public. It's easily accessible; simply scan the QR code or download the app to pay while you charge for your selected duration.

We have also installed our own water "borehole" which will provide a reliable, sustainable, and high-quality water supply as an alternative to mains water.

Solar panel installation on the facilities block

Renewable energy

In line with our commitment to environmental sustainability, we have invested and installed solar panels that span our entire facility block, thereby generating clean energy.

Bug huts

Several bug huts have been hand crafted and placed around our campsite, can you find them all?

Bug huts provide a nesting opportunity and hibernation place for many beneficial insects, which increases insect diversity in the area, and helps to naturally restart important ecosystem services like soil formation, pollination and nutrient recycling.

You can collect a fact sheet from reception and go on a bug hunt of your own. Happy bug hunting campers!

Everything at your fingertips

We recommend you visit and download our digital guest guide to the campsite, with directions and lots of important information whilst on site. Once you have opened the below link on your mobile device you should get a prompt to add a shortcut, then "Add to Home Screen". This will install it in a similar fashion to an APP, however, don't worry if you don't have signal, it will work without Wi-Fi once installed. {{Sherwood_Pines_Glamping_and_Camping}} Guest Guidebook | Touch Stay
