Our “Family Bothy Pods" provide a perfect retreat for you to base yourselves in the heart of Sherwood Forest whilst walking, hiking, cycling, or to just sit, relax, and enjoy the views from your very own veranda. And, as we're open all year there's plenty of opportunity to stay in any season.
They comfortably sleep up to 5 people including children and suitable for maximum of 3 adults.
**WHAT'S PROVIDED ***
Our family pods have a separate bedroom furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed (with mattresses). The open plan living space also has a convertible seating/dining area that creates another comfortable single. with scatter cushions, and an extendable dining table with two fold away chairs. They also have plug sockets with USB charging ports, and a fire guard to keep you, the kids and your pooches safe from the log burning fire.
It's fully equipped with fireside armchairs with snuggle throws, fridge, 2 ring induction hob, microwave, kettle & toaster. Pots, pans, mixing bowl, jug & a colander. Plates, side plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery and a variety of cooking utensils, washing up bowl & dustpan & brush, along with an emergency night torch.
There is also a beautiful large family sized solid wood dinning table with parasol out on your private veranda.

**WHAT'S PROVIDED ***
Our cosy pods have a single living area, with 2 twin beds (with mattresses) that when pushed together create a comfortable double, with ample space for you to bring your own air bed for your 3rd guest.
It's fully equipped with electric points, log burning fire, fireside armchairs with snuggle throws, fridge, microwave, kettle & toaster. Crockery & cutlery, mixing bowl, jug & a colander, a variety of cooking utensils, washing up bowl & dustpan & brush, along with an emergency night torch.
There is also a solid wood love seat with side table and parasol out on your private veranda.

SLEEPS 1-6 - Available April - October
The geodome comfortably sleeps up to 6 people including children and suitable for maximum of 4 adults.
**WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE GEODOME***
Furnished with a "real" double bed, bunk beds suitable for children, and a double sofa bed.
It also boasts a kitchenette area, which has a sink and running water, washing up bowl, fridge, kettle, toaster, electric hob, heater, side lamps, electric points, wardrobe, coat rack and boot tray.
Along with a dining table and chairs, basic cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, even camper chairs are provided for you to sit on the decking and enjoy the views, or watch the kids play in our great children's play area.

Essential booking information
**Bring your own**
For all of our glamping accommodation you will need to bring your own bedding including pillows, throws or sleeping bags, towels and toiletries. You should also bring your own cleaning products, and provisions for your stay.
You may bring a charcoal or gas BBQ.
There is one dedicated parking space allocated per unit. A maximum of 1 additional vehicle may be pre-booked at a nominal charge of £5 per day.
We have dog friendly family pods (max 2 pooches) - but availability is limited (with the exception of essential assistance dogs). If you can't find availability for a pet friendly pod please call the site directly on 01623 572 337.
**Arrival information**
The earliest arrival time for glamping accommodation is from 3pm, and we ask that you are ready to vacate by 10am on the morning of your departure.
Keys should be handed back to reception in person along with the welcome pack provided at check-in.
IMPORTANT NOTE: a security and cleaning pre-authorisation deposit of £100 will be requested on arrival. This will be released once the unit has been cleaned & checked after your departure as long as there is no damage, theft or deep cleaning required. A member of the team will always contact your prior to retaining any charge whether partial or in full.
**Campsite facilities**
We boast outstanding modern shared facilities on the campsite which include large accessible and family bathrooms, toilets, showers, hairdryers, dishwashing, washing machines, tumble dryers, iron & board, and airing lockers.
As well as a well stocked shop, the site offers unrivaled access to cycling, walking and hiking trails directly from site, or just sit back and watch the kids enjoy the large play area,
We even have a bike wash! Our Reception shop offers a range of daily & camping essentials, fresh BBQ packs from our local quality butcher, soft drinks, ice-creams along with our delicious fresh Rijo coffee machine for that anytime pick you up perk.
**Fire safety**
Please note: smoking or vaping is NOT permitted inside the pods or geodome.
You may bring your own charcoal or gas BBQ which should not be used on the decking, but can be placed on the grass, raised above ground level during your stay. Please do not bring additional electrical cooking appliances.
We do not permit campfires, fire pits or wood burning on site; The log burner uses specialised fire-logs of which extra can be purchased in our shop.

If you haven't already, we recommend you visit and download our digital guest guide to the campsite, with directions and lots of important information whilst on site. Once you have opened the below link on your mobile device you will get a prompt to add a shortcut, then "Add to Home Screen".
